The Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group Specialized Register contains records of randomized controlled trials and controlled clinical trials relevant to the Group’s topics. New records are identified through searches for trials for specific reviews and bi-monthly searches for trials in relevant topics such as malaria and tuberculosis. The Specialized Register is maintained by the Information Retrieval Specialist, Vittoria Lutje (mailto:vittoria.lutje@lstmed.ac.uk). It currently contains 5664 records (March 2015).

The records in the Specialized Register are also included in the Cochrane Register of Studies (CRS), a Cochrane data repository and data management tool, and  in the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials available through the Cochrane Library.  Records from the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group Specialized Register can be identified in The Cochrane Library searching for “SR-INFECTN”.
