CIDG Editors awarded Cochrane Lifetime and Emeritus Membership

Since 2022, Cochrane has bestowed new lifetime and emeritus memberships, recognizing the extraordinary contributions of individuals who have made an exceptional, long-standing contribution to Cochrane’s work and leadership. Three Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG) Editors were recognized at the 2023 Cochrane Colloquium for their outstanding work.

Professor Paul Garner formed and led the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Groups as CIDG Coordinating Editor for over 25 years and was awarded Emeritus Cochrane Membership, for his significant long-standing contribution to the leadership of the organization. Read more about his contributions here.

Dr Patricia Graves and Dr Karen Steingart were awarded Lifetime Cochrane Membership, which is given to individuals at all levels of the organization who have made an exceptional, long-standing commitment to Cochrane's work. Both have provided invaluable input and support to the CIDG in terms of priority setting and reviews that have informed global guidelines. Read more about Patricia’s and Karen’s contributions here.
