A fond farewell to Anne-Marie Stephani, CIDG Managing Editor

The Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG) editorial base said a fond farewell to Anne-Marie Stephani on Friday 25th August. Anne-Marie joined the CIDG as Managing Editor in 2009 and has been instrumental in assuring rigorous, fair, and prompt editorial management of the CIDG; in maintaining excellent communication with editors and authors; and in assuring the authors and teams deliver on priority reviews. The reviews have been used extensively in WHO Guidelines and it is a credit to Anne-Marie that the CIDG is so highly regarded internationally. Anne-Marie also helped the CIDG absorb the Cochrane HIV/AIDS Group, and maintained a high level of professional and prompt responses to authors at all times. Anne-Marie also contributed to the organization of Cochrane as a member of the Cochrane Managing Editors’ Executive. On behalf of the CIDG’s Co-ordinating Editor, Editors, authors, and editorial staff, we wish her the very best in her future endeavours.
