In this podcast, Kayla Barnes interviews Professor Paul Garner who discusses his work as Coordinating Editor of the Cochrane Infectious Diseases Group (CIDG). 

For the last 20 years, he has been instrumental in bringing research synthesis to tropical diseases, mainly through the CIDG. Currently he is Director of the Effective Health Care Research Consortium (http://www.evidence4health.org/), which is committed to preparing and updating systematic reviews relevant to middle- and low-income countries, and using this research to promote evidence-based health policy and practice.
